Last weekend I headed off on my first Rotary Event – a bus trip down to the Pyrénées (the mountain range that divides France and Spain). It’s about one and a half hours by bus. The weekend is designed to prepare the outgoing French kids and their parents for the coming exchange (though the parents only attended the luncheon on the Saturday morning).

Mon premier semain de l’ecole, Mon premier quinze jours à Toulouse

So I’ve now been away from home for about 16 days and have been in Toulouse for two weeks. Prior to leaving I was told at a Rotary Weekend for District 9680 to “Record your first impressions – because they will fade fast”.
