On Monday night I’m heading to Paris so I thought I’d post one of my favourite pictures from there, I took this back in June.

School
September 23rd, 2008So since the 2nd of September I’ve been back at school. Not my old school though, a new one – Lycee Raymonne Naves. It’s on the other side of Toulouse. Tomorrow marks three weeks back in the education system and I’m already starting to settling in to my new school environment. The class is nice, and friendships are coming but it’s like starting the year again. I’m in Terminale (year 12) ES (Social and Economical studies), in a small class of 24 (almost unheard of in France, the other Terminale classes are between 34 and 37 students). And we finish no later than 4:30, also a rare thing. Read the rest of this entry »
8 Months – 21/09/2008
September 22nd, 2008Today marks eight months in France, and it also signals the first day of Autumn. I tell you what, it feels weird being the old exchange kid now! On the 27th we received 14 new exchange students in district 1700, they joined us at the weekend away. Read the rest of this entry »
Trip #4 – La Plage (The Beach!)
September 22nd, 2008When I was asked what I missed most about Australia I answered “the beach” – it’s the one thing I can’t find any replacement for here in Toulouse, I found it by heading East though…
Trip #3 – Canal du Midi – A Bike Tour of Southern France
September 22nd, 2008So, here is the third chapter of my holidays:
Roughly 250 kilometers by bicycle following the Canal du Midi from Toulouse until its arrival at Séte (with a detour to Narbonne to see the Tour de France and dip our toes into the sea). Read the rest of this entry »
Trip #2 – England!
September 22nd, 2008Firstly, I know I haven’t finished the Eurotrip entry, but I’m going to finish up to nowadays before I go back and tie up that end!
This trip has 4 little chapters, the first one comes down to a combination complete stupidity and complete and utter luck, In retrospect though I can almost look at it without cringing. Read the rest of this entry »
